Ray Elliott, Director of OEC, brings a depth of multidisciplinary experience to his training and consulting work with organisations in the government, military, health, business and educational sectors. Among his present clients are the national Centre for Command Studies of the Australian Army where he is the civilian consultant for its major leadership doctrine project, and Bakers Delight Holdings where he is conducting management leadership development and team training.
In 1996, Ray co-ordinated a major symposium "Beyond the Karpin Report: The Measurement of Leadership" for the National Conference of the Australian Psychological Society, and in 1997 OEC has provided facilitation services for a series of assessment centres on leadership competencies for a large government department.
The company has conducted independent field research on the Team Management Systems' Linking Skills Profile Questionnaire, exploring in particular its association with transformational leadership styles (see AIM Management Magazine, March, 1997). In addition to being a licensed facilitator for the range of Team Management Systems (TMS) products and services, OEC is distributor for the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ: Bass and Avolio) and the MLQ Team Profile in Australia.
